1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yea-Nay (available at yea-nay.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Yea-Nay is a group decision-making tool that lets people create decision rooms, add options, invite others to vote anonymously, and see aggregated results. The service is currently in early access. Features, availability, and pricing may change at any time without notice.

3. Waitlist & Early Access

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the product. We reserve the right to grant or deny early access at our discretion. Waitlist spots are non-transferable.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Yea-Nay for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any form or room.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems or circumvent any security measures.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service without our prior written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these rules.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on Yea-Nay — including the name, logo, and interface — are owned by Yea-Nay and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our express written permission.

Any content you submit (such as decision room options or contact messages) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display it as necessary to operate the service.

6. Disclaimers

Yea-Nay is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use the service at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yea-Nay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, during the free early-access period, is zero).

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify waitlist members by email. Your continued use of Yea-Nay after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
